Allusion

Been smaller than the rest
But definately not the worst
Others tower over
And have the upper hand
But it doesn't matter
Because my skills overpower
Faster than the cat
Stronger than the bulldog
Sweet like the duckling
But still the mouse of the family

Challenging my siblings
And always winning
Running around the house
Knocking down everything
Too nimble and quick
Cannot be caught
Jumping and crawling
Then stopping
To pick up my fallen brother
And get him back on his feet

Helping that ugly duckling who is lost and scared
Taking him in after he fell behind his group
And picking him up
Letting him follow
And teaching him along the way
Because I know what it feels like
I've been the loner
So I get people out of there
To a better place

Rascal and curious
Roaming to dangerous places
With bigger foes around
But showing them up
Showing them who is better
That being bigger
Doesn't mean better
That size is just a trait
Not something important
Because anyone can be the best

  1. If you have a minute, I’d really appreciate it if you took a look at Emily’s Virtual Rocket. This is a serious newsblog which has been taken from e-newspapers and e-magazines from around the world, with an emphasis on transgender issues. Also, with his election, I look for articles which critique Donald Trump.
